Your Role as a Campus Director:
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation – Ensure adherence to program regulations and Department of Education requirements, maintaining accurate records and timely reporting.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Manage critical communications with parents, school districts, and community partners, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Program & Operations Management – Oversee daily operations, including schedules, budgets, staff development, and asset management, while ensuring cost-effective practices.
- Crisis Management & Reporting – Respond to emergencies, document incidents, and ensure proper communication and follow-up with leadership.
- Staff Supervision & Performance Management – Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct annual evaluations in coordination with leadership teams.
- Crisis Intervention & Meetings – Utilize verbal non-violent crisis intervention techniques as needed and attend meetings with school districts, multidisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders.
- IEP Participation – Support the IEP process by scheduling and attending meetings, collaborating with team members, and preparing required documentation.
- Staff & Workforce Development – Foster a positive work environment through staff appreciation, daily meetings, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings.
- Community & Customer Engagement – Maintain positive interactions with stakeholders to support program growth and effectiveness.
- Operational Oversight & Reporting – Submit daily reports, conduct regular kitchen inspections, maintain temperature logs, and assist with presentations for conferences and research events.
- Safety & Compliance – Ensure monthly fire drills, annual fire extinguisher inspections, asbestos checks (as required), and proper documentation of all safety drills.
- Training & Professional Development – Provide ongoing staff training, attend required sessions, and support continuous learning initiatives.
- Administrative Tasks – Accurately track and submit work hours, complete requested reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources or related field with extensive experience.
- PA Special Education Teaching Certification or Supervisor of Special Education Certificate OR minimum of five years in a leadership role working with children with learning and behavioral challenges, including at least three years of teaching and/or supervisory experience.
- Experience with various curricula, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and Behavior Plans.
- Knowledge of Behavior Modification techniques and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with PA Department of Education regulations.
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education, human services or related field.
- Understanding of mental health services and support systems.
- Experience in curriculum development for children with special education needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of common behavioral disorders in children and adolescents.
