Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Bartending and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating great experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Comply with all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotional offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and making change accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
