Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Engage in clinical research to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
- Address gender issues counseling and provide support for clients facing unique challenges related to their identities.
- Work effectively with individuals with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and tailored interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within hospital settings to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and application in practice.
- Proficiency in medical documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Experience working with geriatric populations, understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Knowledge of gender issues counseling, demonstrating sensitivity and awareness of diverse client backgrounds.
