As a Senior Medication Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in administering prescribed medications to patients and maintaining accurate medical records under the supervision of our Charge Nurse.
**Responsibilities:**
- Verify patient identity and record medication information on specified forms or records
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administration
- Take vital signs and detect responses to medications
- Prepare reports and notify personnel of unexpected reactions
- Document reasons for non-administered medications
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist with examinations and treatments
Requirements:
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program with Qualified Medication Aide designation
- Must be 18 years or older
