JOB SUMMARY

The Social Services Director is responsible for completing Social Services related tasks. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform all Social Services tasks and duties for the facility.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with residents and families.
  • Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
  • Ensure excellent & timely communication with residents, families, staff, and referral sources.
  • Create positive resident outcomes.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSW or MSW degree in related field, required
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Long-term care facility experience preferred
