What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advance Practice Provider - Limited Part Time position at River Valley Family Health Center?
River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for an experienced Advance Practice Provider (APP) to join our Convenience Care Clinic in Delta. This position is limited part-time (PRN), and will be scheduled to work Sundays 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This position is non-exempt and pays $57.11 - $63.34 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

A day in the life of an APP includes:
- Providing direct patient care to patients by assessing patient health, performing physical examinations, obtaining health histories, and developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Performing therapeutic procedures by administering injection, suturing, casting, splinting, removal of foreign bodies, managing wounds and infections, etc.
- Providing patient education at time of service, including anticipatory guidance, information about chronic care, disease prevention, and the promotion of health maintenance.
- Collaborating with Behavioral Health, Primary Care, and Dental Providers to encourage integrated health.

Qualifications
- Unrestricted and current PA-C Certification with NCCPA, or current FNP license, in the State of Colorado, and DEA registration.
- Ability and willingness to treat and prescribe for Medication for Opioid use Disorder (MOUD); X-Waiver Certification preferred.
- Ability and willingness to treat children of all ages, including infants, and performing well-child exams preferred
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
- 5 years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others.
- Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks.
- A caring, kind, and professional bedside manner.
- Ability to be a team player and to support and assist team members as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required, must be comfortable using translation services if not bilingual.
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are exposed to blood, body fluids, and other occupational hazards, and are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
