What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Nursing Care Specialist position at River Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center?
At River Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center, we understand the importance of providing high-quality care to our residents. Our skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) play a critical role in achieving this goal, working closely with the RN or AL Clinical Manager to provide direct care to residents.
Licensed Practical Nurses on our team are responsible for developing and modifying the resident Plan of Care, implementing interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by the RN or physician, and collecting resident health data. They also participate in ongoing assessments and report changes and/or responses to interventions.
To be successful in this position, candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Required qualifications include completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing, current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse, and current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care.
