## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, dependable Medical Assistant to join our busy internal medicine office. The candidate will be in a fast-paced environment working hand in hand with patients and other healthcare team members
## Duties
- Rooming patients while checking vitals and medical history
- Ability to administer vaccines, injections and has phlebotomy skills
- Conduct EKG's, Holter monitors, CGM's and other diagnostic testing
-Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
-Refill and management of medications, as well as entering prior authorizations
-Ability to order diagnostic testing and lab work
-Able to triage messages, faxes, in-person appointments
-Able to be proficient in administrative duties such as answering phones, managing fax inbox, medical records
-Assist medical team in CCM management
## Requirements
- Experience in medical assisting, previous internal medicine experience would be a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Ability to operate medical equipment and perform basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in medication administration and phlebotomy
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritizing tasks
-Great communication skills with patients, coworkers and other provider offices
