Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing assists in the management of the Nursing department in accordance with company policy, quality standards of nursing care and government regulations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in the delivery of optimal resident care.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Texas
- RN with Nursing Home experience
- Available to work flexible hours to include some weekends
- Carry out, coordinate, or manage administrative functions and areas or programs related to Nursing Services which may include departmental documentation, medical records, nursing supplies, ancillary supplies or services, quality assurance, care plans, MDS, infection control program, restorative care, skin care program, Medicare, , medication programs, alternative duty, safety program, staff scheduling, employee selection, training and orientation
