Marketing Specialist

Summary: 

River Valley Power & Sport - Marine is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join one of the Top 20 Marine Dealers in North America. The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in Content Creation, Graphic Design, and Social Media Management, Campaign Development, Website Management, and Strategic Research. This position will work with a current Marketing team consisting of an experienced Marketing Manager, an experienced Marketing Specialist, and an industry-leading marketing agency. The ideal Candidate is energetic, has an out-going personality, and is passionate about the outdoors and on-road/offroad powersports product.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Take photos of our marine and powersport products and upload to the company website.

·         Design signage for campaigns and price signs for each product.

·         Support Company Events such as boat shows, store level consumer events, open houses.

·         Posting to social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

·         Support and collaborate with a team of three marketing professionals.

·         Film walkthrough videos on marine and powersport products.

·         Create email, social, and digital campaigns.

·         Conduct market research in our industry.

·         Research and implement current marketing trends and technologies within the industry to incorporate into projects.

·         Measure the success of marketing campaigns and compare data to previous campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Graduated from a University or Technical College with a degree in Marketing, Multimedia, or a similar field.

·         0-5 years of experience in a marketing or creative role.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

·         Strong work ethic.

·         A good eye for design and aesthetics.

·         A passion for the powersports, marine, and outdoor recreation industry is highly encouraged.  

Work Location: In-office

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, with 6-10 weekend events throughout the year.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 annual.
