Summary/objective
Texarkana Tractor Company manages thirteen dealerships, comprising ten Kubota dealerships and three New Holland dealerships throughout east Texas and central Arkansas. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least three years of experience working with Kubota tractors and hay equipment. Reliable transportation is a requirement, along with an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.
Essential Functions

- Extensive, in-depth diagnostic, repair, and recondition, of equipment including but not limited to, tractors, small engines, lawnmowers, all-terrain vehicles, and farm equipment.
- Maintains accurate records of work performed.
- Reports work shortages and malfunctions of shop equipment to the Service Manager.
- Completely disassemble and inspect equipment timely.
- Recommend necessary repairs to the Service Manager.
- Keeps shop vehicles clean and properly serviced.
- Report any problems to the Service Manager.
- Participate in continuing education with factory service schools.
- Makes service calls as assigned by the Service Manager.

Work Environment
Occasionally travel to job sites or training, work in both outside and inside environments. At times, temperatures may be below 30 degrees or may exceed 90 degrees. Occasionally (< 25 % of the time). There may be intermittent exposure to vibration and noises over 85 dB, as well as exposure to non-toxic fumes, grease, oils, and gases.
Physical Demands
Work involves repetitive work of a mechanical nature with regular, 50-100% of the time will require bending, stooping, and standing, including the need to move and lift heavy objects weighing 50lbs to 100lbs.

Preferred education and experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- An associate degree in diesel technology or completion of a traineeship
- 3 to 5 years of farm equipment/diesel mechanics/hydraulics
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certified diesel mechanics are preferred
