We are looking for a talented senior software engineer who is passionate about building high-quality, delightful mobile experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining features in our React Native codebase that power our mobile applications.
River has raised more than $50 million from leading investors, including; Goldcrest, Kingsway, Polychain, M13, DG, and Valor.
What you will be doing
- Architect and develop new features in our React Native codebase.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and other engineers to plan and execute projects.
- Write high-quality, tested code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
- Contribute to the engineering culture and help shape its future for years to come.
What we look for in you
- 5 years of software engineering experience, focusing on mobile development.
- Strong proficiency in React Native and mobile development principles.
- Proficient in Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin for native platforms.
- Ability to write reliable code and take ownership of your work.
- Solid understanding of web security fundamentals for mobile apps.
- Genuine interest in River's mission and a passion for technology.
Nice to haves
- Experience in the fintech industry.
- A design portfolio and an eye for good design; experience crafting delightful animations in RN.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, GCP, DataDog, Apollo Client for GraphQL, Figma, and Elixir.
- Experience working in a rapidly scaling company.
- Interest in Bitcoin.
Location and Salary
- 100% remote option available within the Americas and Europe, with offices in SF, NYC, and Columbus OH
- Salary range between $125,000 - $205,000 based on skills and experience
