Riverbend Management seeks a dedicated Cost Accountant to provide comprehensive accounting services for meat processing entities and other clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain standard costs.
- Collect and analyze operational data.
- Guide cost analysis processes by developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Provide trends and forecasts through detailed analysis.
- Reconcile transactions with production data.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting.
- Conduct GL account reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Cost Accounting experience desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Have effective communication skills
- Great follow-through
- Ability to manage concurrent projects
