Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the disassembly of various vehicles and machinery, ensuring that parts are removed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with power tools, hand tools, and vehicle maintenance. This position is crucial for maintaining our operations and ensuring that we meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Safely disassemble vehicles to salvage quality used parts
- Identify, clean, and tag parts for inventory
- Operate tools and equipment (power and hand tools, hoists, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Collaborate with team to meet daily productivity goals
Position Qualifications:
- Solid mechanical background – automotive repair, body shop, or similar experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a physical environment
- Basic computer or inventory system knowledge a plus
- Team player attitude with attention to detail
