Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and a strong understanding of drywall installation and finishing techniques. As a Drywall Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
Duties
- Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary treatments.
- Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and fasteners to create a smooth surface.
- Use tools such as trowels, knives, and sanders to achieve desired finishes on drywall surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless integration of drywall into overall project design.
- Conduct final inspections of finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or as a carpenter with relevant skills in drywall finishing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks related to construction plumbing and ensure walls are plumb before finishing.
- Experience with trim carpentry is desirable for completing projects with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $22.74 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
