Program Director at Ray of Light, Recovery Café Haverhill
The Program Director is responsible for overseeing all programmatic and administrative operations for Recovery Cafe Haverhill (ROLRC), including program oversight, staff supervision, external marketing, and community networking. This position works closely with community volunteers, staff members, and the ROLRC Advisory Board to ensure that ROLRC effectively meets the needs of the region's recovery community. This position works closely with Recovery Cafe Network to maintain ROLRC's alignment with the RCN Model and BSAS to meet contractual obligations. The Program Director represents the organization in a positive, professional image at all times.

Job Details:
Reports to: Nicole Cardelle & Rich Hollett, Division Director of Recovery Support Services
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide weekly individual supervision to the Program Coordinator, Member Engagement Coordinator, Community Engagement Coordinator, and Recovery Coach.
· Facilitate weekly staff meeting with all full-time and part-time staff.
· Collaborate with Program Coordinator to develop School for Recovery and oversee implementation of programming.
· Supervise the implementation of the Member Advisory Board (MAB) and ensure that program improvements are made accordingly.
· Facilitate one recovery circle per week and peer recovery support groups as necessary.
· Participate in training as required.
· Meet with supervisor weekly for individual supervision.
· Ensures that the work environment is aligned with the guiding principles of the Recovery Cafe Model.
· Upholds the Recovery Cafe Model in the implementation of all policies and procedures of the RSC.
· Attends all peer recovery support center director meetings scheduled by the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS).
· Collaborates with Director of Peer Recovery and Community Outreach in hiring RSC staff.
· Adheres to the guiding principles of the Recovery Cafe Model.

· Familiarity with the community based medical, behavioral health, and substance use resources and addiction treatment providers and systems in and around Lowell is a significant plus.
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or another related field or equivalent lived experience.
· Supervisory experience and/or similar experience are preferred.
· A minimum of two years of experience in the SUD treatment field or similar behavioral health field is required.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
· Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine the proper course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
