What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional II position at Riverdale Joint Unified?
The employee is expected to work under the direct supervision of the Principal to support the educational process of the school and the District to achieve the best possible school program and learning environment for the youth of the community. The employee is expected to assist the teacher in a classroom environment to improve the educational needs of the students. The employee will provide individualized instructional services or small group instruction as deemed applicable. The position may also include cafeteria, playground, and other duties as determined and assigned by the site administrator. The position also involves toileting instruction and assistance for children with disabilities. The Riverdale Joint Unified School District is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Fresno in the heart of prime agricultural land. Farming and farm related enterprises are the principal businesses for the area.

Associates Degree or 48 units of college credit.
Previous tutoring/paraprofessional experience is preferred.
