Crew Leader/ Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crew Leader/Movers to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of workers to ensure successful completion of each moving job.

As a mover you will be working with a crew leader who will assign you different tasks throughout the move. These tasks include properly wrapping furniture to ensure it is protected. You will also be moving furniture to the truck, so the ability to lift safely with another person is essential.

Pay for movers starts at $20 per hour and increases as you become a driver/ supervisor.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

(Supervisor):

• Supervise and lead a crew of movers.
• Answer any questions or concerns a customer may have.
• Wrap the customers furniture and pack it safely in the truck using blankets, tape, wrap etc.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to crew members.
• Safely drive and park our 26ft box truck at both the customers house and at our lot.
• Properly explain the work contract with the customer and get all needed signatures.
• Receive payment off the customer at the end of each job.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
• Ensure the truck is cleaned out and the moving pads are folded and secures to the wall after each job.

Duties:

(Mover):

• Wrap the customers furniture and pack it safely in the truck using blankets, tape, wrap etc.
• Have a presentable appearance and demeanor starting as you arrive at the lot till you go home for the day.

Skills:

-Crew Leaders must have a clean driving record and valid license.

-All employees must have reliable transport to and from our lot in Mount Pleasant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely and efficiently move heavy pieces, including dressers, marble tops, pianos ,and gun safes.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
