Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Expert

Provide maintenance expertise in our Processing facilities, working as a team member to ensure that food products are processed according to quality specifications and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Processing Equipment: Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatics, Welding Skills, Electrical, Industrial Shop Tools.
• Previous work experience as a mechanic in food processing plants or fish processing plants desired.
• Ability to work on various processing machines and equipment as required.
• Communicate and Work as a Team Member, Participate in discussions about confidential/sensitive matters, Communicate with employees and others through written, oral and face-to-face interactions.

Requirements:

• Record keeping, organizational skills, Leadership potential, Exemplary Attendance, Vast knowledge of fresh and frozen product line, packaging requirements.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form, Ability to communicate in English in order to adhere to safety standards.

Work Environment: The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions. Worker will be exposed to below freezing environments on occasion. The worker is subject to noise. The worker can be subject to cold and wet conditions.

Physical Demands: This job involves medium work exerting force occasionally and frequently to move objects.
