Job Description
We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Riverhawk team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established local company and contribute to the success of the business through supporting the customers who depend on us for industrial supplies. As an Account Manager you will play a vital role in helping our customers place orders and support customer requests related to their orders. This role will start with training as an Account Manager for the counter in our showroom where you will work with customers face-to-face, on the phone and through email.
Key responsibilities for Account Managers:
- Support requests for quotes from customers which includes preparing quotes, incorporating feedback from customers and converting quotes to sales orders
- Research products for customers and ask appropriate questions to ensure we are helping them buy the right item
- Review inventory needs to fill orders and generate procurement orders for special non-stock items when needed
- Work with Account Executives to build strong relationships with accounts and foster growth
- Emphasis on serving existing customers; no cold calling

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong technical skills with proficiency or the ability to become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Notion, Slack and Inform
- Team player who brings a positive attitude
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in prior customer service, customer support or sales role
- Existing knowledge of industrial tools and consumables, metalworking, or welding
Requirements
A high school diploma is required and a four-year degree is preferred. Applicants must consent to a background check and drug screening. Physical requirements include lifting 25lbs., climbing ladders, and standing for long periods.
Schedule and Compensation
This is a salaried and non-commission based role, with the opportunity over time to earn more based on company and individual performance. The typical schedule will be Monday- Friday 8am-5pm at our Mulberry, FL location.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
