Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational management of our IT department, including staff leadership, project management, help desk operations, infrastructure expansion, system security, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of our IT systems and services.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to promote efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing IT team.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IT staff.
- Maintain a customer-focused support culture and ensure strong service orientation.
- Support large user populations and deployment of various user-facing desktop applications and platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent.
- Or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and tolerance for ambiguity.
- Prior management of an IT Help Desk team or IT Department staff.
- Complete understanding of corporate computer systems, networks, and infrastructure. Basic understanding of software programming, web programming, and database structures.
