Requirements : What you will do :
- Assists in development, implementation and monitoring company environmental, health and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Recommends improvements in processes, design, procedures, and operating equipment, to minimize the hazardous potential.
- Assists with assessments, employee training, incident investigations, inspections, data collection / analysis, program / procedure writing and internal audits.
- Supports safety program for multiple sites.
- Assists with managing emergency action, spill response and fire prevention plans, and helps to ensure appropriate training, practice drills and equipment are in a ready state.
- Review and update written OSHA related programs.
- Coordinate with functional team leaders in the areas of Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Production to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build and foster a safety culture among all employees.
- Organize and participate in safety committee activities.
- Provide expert technical support in identifying, and resolving, critical regulatory issues.
- Assist with Injury and Claim Management.
- Ability to demonstrate our company values in everyday work interactions.
