Job Description
The Bilingual Success Coach serves as the lead position delivering academic support services, including supplemental instruction, individual and small group tutoring, study groups, and other programming for Career and Technical programs. This position is responsible for assisting in career and technical education labs. Specifically working with faculty to serve bilingual students in these programs which includes marketing of tutoring services and other support services to meet student needs across the three campuses.
Salary Range:
$49,339 - $71,368
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience -OR- a diploma/certificate in a Career or Technical program -OR- an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate degree could be substituted for 6 months of experience, a bachelor’s degree is 12 months, and a master’s degree is 18 months.
- Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students.
- Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
- Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
Preferred Qualification
- One year of direct teaching/tutoring/training work experience in a community college.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Career or Technical program, Education, or related field.
- Experience collaborating with students/clients to develop creative/innovative solutions to their educational and personal challenges.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience with data collection and continuous improvement analysis.
