Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include evaluating patients/residents, collecting data, observing condition, and reporting changes in condition. Additionally, LPNs contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, and maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure
