Dealer School Certification Program Summary: Learn to deal table games following established standards in a high volume, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment for FREE. The class is 6-8 weeks long and each session is 2.5 hrs.
Attending Dealer School you will learn to
- Deal assigned games according to procedure and specific game standards
- Engage players in conversation in an energetic and enthusiastic manner
- Adjust conversation and interaction according to player preferences
- Provide exceptional guest service both on and off the table
- Work as a team when assigned to a game with multiple dealers
- Exchange cash for gaming chips
- Control the pace of the game for optimum balance of player enjoyment and company requirements
- Inform the supervisor of any special player request or unusual play
- Quickly resolve any player problems through the supervisor
- Check for guest satisfaction and thank players for their patronage
- Maintain the integrity of the game at all times
- Maintain a spirit of cooperation when interacting with all other employees
- Comply with all IL regulatory requirements
- Basic math skills required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Able to attend dealer school for approximately 6-8 weeks, 5 days a week
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Able to work a flexible schedule upon completion of school including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
