Summary: This position has responsibility to execute hotel food and beverage offerings- including filling and restocking food on the breakfast buffet, attending to guest needs, delivering food to guest rooms and keeping and hotel F&B areas and food areas stocked and cleaned.

Essential Job Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow all safety and sanitation rules, including lifting and carrying procedures
- Stock and fill breakfast buffet food line
- Greet guests and verify status as a hotel guest
- Engage in friendly conversation with guests
- Clear all china, glassware, and silverware from all tables
- Wipe down tables and chairs and sweep debris from the floor
- Keep dining area, breakfast buffet, and side stations organized, stocked, and cleaned
- Complete all opening, closing, and running duties
- Maintain next day inventories according to occupancy
- Orders, receives and stores necessary food and supplies maintaining inventory controls according to hotel occupancy
- General food preparation and serving
- Empties out trash cans, clean and wipe chairs, tables, beverage area, and the breakfast and condiment station.
- Sweep, vacuum or mop floors in the breakfast area and lobby.
- Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
Qualifications:
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members
- Possess ability to work in fast-paced situations
- Prior experience in hospitality and guest interaction is required.
- Neat, clean appearance and ability to wear proper uniform, including nametag, ID badge, and slip resistant shoes.
- Reports to work on time
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to be a TEAM player
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally move and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and noisy work conditions.
