Position Summary: As a Security Officer II at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safeguarding of all company assets and the well-being of guests and team members. This role demands strict adherence to Security Department policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute designated security tasks to protect company assets and maintain the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Enforce age restrictions by verifying the identification of patrons to prevent access to individuals under the age of 21.
- Address patron inquiries and complaints with the option to escalate issues to a Security Supervisor when necessary.
- Contribute to the implementation of emergency protocols.
- Generate accurate reports and witness statements in accordance with company protocols.
- Carry out any additional duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in a casino or hotel security role.
- Strong English speaking verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with both team members and guests.
- Proven track record of being a cooperative team player.
- Commitment to completing the pre-employment process successfully.
- Capability to obtain and sustain all mandatory licenses required for the role.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including holidays.
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with the gaming license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently
- Physical fitness to engage in activities such as walking, running, standing, kneeling, and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift.
