Jo b Functions :
Set up station according to restaurant guidelines. Prepare all food items for the daily menu and specials in a sanitary and timely manner. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant. Ability to read and interpret abbreviations on food order tickets. Responsible for the correct food presentation of each plated item. Restock items as needed throughout shift. Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills. Serves food items to guests as requested. Ensures thorough communication between shifts. Remains up to date on all Departmental Policies and Procedures. Understands that schedules are subject to change. Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures. Breaking down and storing of daily food and supply deliveries. Ensures proper FIFO procedures are followed when storing daily deliveries. Performs all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements :
One to two years related experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess thorough knowledge of Asian cooking (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese) Commitment to excellence, high standards, and good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members. Possesses the ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency. Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Understands that schedules are subject to change. Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and kneeling. The Team Member must frequently lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to work within the following conditions : wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise. Prior experience is preferred as well as a proven track record demonstrating sound judgment
