Position Summary: performs tasks related to the drop, collection, transportation, and counting of cash and tickets from gaming operations in accordance with regulated procedures and Internal Controls.
Job Title: Count Team Attendant

Target Pay: Start $22.59 One Year $25.10
Essential Job Functions:
- Retrieves cash and tickets from slot machines
- Counts currency, coin, chips, or ticket vouchers
- Must be able to accurately count high volumes of currency
- Operates electronic devices and machines when processing money
- Ensures compliance with gaming regulations related to the Count Room
- Immediately reports any irregularities to the Lead Count Team Attendant or Above
- Completes required accounting paperwork
- Ensures compliance with all other regulatory controls both internal and external including, but not limited to, state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of money handling experience is preferred
- Must possess basic math skills and ability to count large sums of currency and chips
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a confined space without the ability to enter or exit freely
- Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Frequently required to push or pull up to 300 pounds
- Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
- Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
- Possible exposure to high noise levels for extended periods of time
