Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Restaurant Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of cashiers and food runners ensuring compliance with established company policies.
The role requires effective communication, excellent guest service, and collaboration with both front and back-of-the-house teams.
The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and sanitation.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise cashiers and food runners to ensure adherence to company policies and excellent guest service.
- Ensure proper staffing levels in accordance with forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
- Communicate changes in policies and procedures to team members.
- Address and resolve team member complaints or disputes; escalate issues to the manager when necessary.
- Collaborate with back-of-the-house supervisors to facilitate effective communication.
- Complete required shift paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor guest flow and communicate labor needs during peak and slow periods.
- Assist in the training of new team members.
- Maintain high sanitation standards and sufficient materials in the work location.
- Treat all team members fairly and consistently.
Qualifications :
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Effective communication in spoken English with Team Members and guests.
- Experience in a high-volume outlet is advantageous.
- Complete knowledge of job-related procedures.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to complete RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) certification.
- Ability to communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to team members.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including holidays.
Certifications :
Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
