Position Summary
Responsible for providing food service to all Martorano’s Prime customers in an efficient courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :All hot food is delivered within 90 seconds after it is placed in the “take out window.”Deliver correct food to the proper guest using position points, no auctioning of food.Plates are set on the table as quietly as possible with entree facing guest.Any request made by a guest that you can satisfy should be taken care of immediately.Any request that you cannot satisfy, contact the appropriate server immediately.Be sure all food delivered is garnished correctly and has the proper condiments.Have complete knowledge how to read a ticket.Keep the line clean and stocked at all times.Provides prompt, courteous service to all guests and team members while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage.Follows Martorano’s standards of hospitality by making eye contact with every guest, smiling and offering a warm and friendly greeting with the proper verbiage : “Good morning, afternoon, or evening, thank you, ma’am or sir, may I?”Demonstrates a complete knowledge of the table numbers, as well as position points in Martorano’s.Helps other team members when needed.Helps pre-bus all glassware and plates.Performs side work and other cleaning and organizing, as needed.Maintains Martorano’s uniform in good condition and reports to work in authorized uniform as mandated by Martorano’s.This includes maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance in compliance with Martorano’s dress code standards.Adheres to proper sanitation procedures.Performs related work as requested.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
1 year of experience in a bar, lounge, or full service restaurant.Excellent communication skills.Ability to perform basic math.Being able to effectively maintain working relationships with staff and other departments.Full knowledge and understanding of Martorano’s rules, policies and procedures.Must possess the disposition to have fun at work and display that spirit to our guests.Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidaysAbility to obtain and maintain all necessary licensingstanding, running, observing, walking,bending, tasting, balancing, sitting, kneeling,climbing, reaching stretching,turning, throwing, hearing, smelling,Lifting, pushing, carrying, or pulling 25lbs.Inside, outside, temperature change, humid, dirty, noisy, smoky, wet, dry, illuminated, dimly litAbility to complete tasks with numerous interruptions, understands technical manuals, work amicably with co-workers, learn tasks in a reasonable amount of time and follow supervisor’s instructions.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
