Job Summary :
Handle routine maintenance calls as assigned, to include but not limited to, moving equipment, materials, barricades, filters, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None
Duties / Responsibilities :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Maintenance of public areas, to include but not limited to trash clean-up, pressure washing, emptying of trash receptacles, sweeping of hardscapes, etc.
Maintenance of landscaped areas, to include but not limited to trimming, mowing, planting, watering and care of living plants, trees, shrubs and grass areas.
Handle routine maintenance calls as assigned, to include but not limited to, moving equipment & materials, barricades, filters, etc.
Assist senior engineers when needed.
Parts and tool runner
Winter duties (snow removal and salt applicator etc.)
Contractor escort as required by VLB
All other duties assigned by management
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
5 years in maintenance field or equivalent
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Certifications, Licenses, and / or Registrations :
Gaming license / registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures, and blueprints.
5 yrs. training or experience in the maintenance field.
Must have a current valid driver’s license
Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Casino’s insurance policy.
Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
Ability to take direction and work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to obtain all required gaming licenses.
Physical Requirements :
Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
Must frequently lift to 35 pounds.
Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
