Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in Same Day Surgery and Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiological and psychological status before, during, and after surgery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota nursing license.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred: Knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing.
- Essential: Ability to interact positively and cooperatively with colleagues, patients, physicians, and other customers.
