Job Summary:
Are you ready to drive your career in a new direction? Cemstone is hiring CDL driver trainees to fill our Ready-Mix Driver roles! As a Trainee you will be enrolled in our PAID driver training program consisting of driving skills training, classroom and behind-the-wheel practice. Prior to starting the program, you must have a state certified CDL learner's permit. At the conclusion of this training program, a successful candidate will have obtained a CDL Class B license and be ready to advance to a Cemstone Ready Mix Driver, with a job assignment at the conclusion of training.
Training program in February 2025 in Belle Plaine.
To be considered for the CDL Training program you must:
- Must commit to 100 % attendance of the entire 6-week training program, actively participate in classroom exercises, as well as hands on instruction.
- Maintain satisfactory feedback from instructors and driver/coaches during the classroom, yard skills, and on-the-road driving portion of the training program.
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a state certified CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit) prior to attending the program.
- Pass the pre-employment DOT physical, work simulation and drug test to obtain the DOT medical card.
- Must register with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Successfully obtain a CDL Class A license within 30 days of completing the training program.
