Delivery Driver and Customer Service

Overview
Rivers FOC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Hybrid Delivery Driver & Customer Service Associate. This unique position combines the responsibilities of delivering and assisting with appliance installations, handling product transfers between company locations, and providing outstanding customer service on the floor at our ACE retail location. Key Responsibilities

Appliance Delivery & Installation Support

• Safely load, transport, and unload appliances to customer locations.
• Assist with appliance setup and installation under the guidance of senior installation technicians.
• Conduct basic on-site tests to ensure proper functionality and address any minor issues.

Product Deliveries & Intercompany Transfers

• Transport merchandise and supplies between Rivers FOC locations and partner facilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of deliveries and transfers.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse and store teams to coordinate delivery schedules.

Customer Service & Floor Support

• Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to ACE customers on the sales floor.
• Respond to customer inquiries, offer product recommendations, and process transactions.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the sales areas, including merchandise displays.

Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to company and regulatory standards for vehicle operation and safety.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with installation teams, customer service representatives, and store managers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Assist in other departments as needed, including inventory management and store promotions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Prior experience in delivery, warehouse operations, or customer service (preferred).

Licenses & Certifications

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

Ability to obtain any required certifications (e.g., forklift, if needed).

Skills & Abilities

Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for assisting both customers and coworkers.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit]), including appliances.

Basic to assist with appliance installation.

Organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a team-based environment.
