Job description
Rivers Safety is currently seeking a Fleet Support Technician.
Summary
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Pick up and drop off company vehicles
- Perform minor repairs and basic troubleshooting
- Run errands, including supply and part pickups
- Transport traffic control equipment
- Travel frequently across North Carolina and Virginia
- Perform minor mechanical work, including but not limited to tire changes, battery replacements, and basic roadside assistance.
Physical Demands
This position requires routine light to heavy lifting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking in an outside environment. Ability to lift 80 lbs.
Work Environment
The work is often performed both indoors and outdoors. There may be frequent exposure to dust, vibration, noise and fumes. Travel between state line of VA and NC
Reports to: Fleet Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
Education
High school diploma or equivalency.
