About us
Riverside Children's Center is a play-based, child-centered school for energetic, engaging teachers.
We have low staff-to-child ratios & small group sizes. Our Infant room has four teachers with seven babies, the Toddler rooms have three teachers and nine children, and our Preschool classes have three teachers with 15 children. We are NAEYC accredited and have a supportive and team-oriented work environment.
We are looking for an assistant Teacher to work 12-6, Monday through Friday, in our younger preschool room. Some flexibility in the start time of the schedule can be accommodated.

Responsibilities
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist in implementing lesson plans and engaging students in educational activities
- Support the lead teacher in providing individualized attention to students
- Help with behavior management and promote positive social interactions
- Communicate effectively with students, and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
