Assistant Program Director - BHCP
Riverside is seeking an Assistant Program Director for our Behavioral Health Community Partner team!
Community Partners are healthcare and human service organizations that partner with Accountable Care Organizations to integrate and improve health outcomes for members with complex and long-term medical and behavioral needs. We seek to improve member experience as well as continuity and quality of care by fostering communication and coordination across medical, behavioral health, and social service needs, along with long-term services and supports. We help people to live in the community independently and provide appropriate treatment and recovery support for individuals with complex behavioral health conditions.
In consultation with the Program Director, the Assistant Program Director will lead and implement program initiatives and oversees daily operations of the Behavioral Health Community Partners Program, ensuring operational integrity, efficiency, and optimal performance. The APD will coordinate and act as liaison between the BHCP care teams, Affiliated Partner Leadership, ACO/MCO collaterals, Community Based Health Center (CBHC), key stakeholders, and the Department of Mental Health (DMH). In the Program Director’s absence, the APD will also assume responsibility for essential duties and functions that are applicable and necessary.
Pay Rate: $87,499/salaried
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Required Skills
- Experience with Medicaid and contract management desired.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Strong computer fluency in Microsoft Office and web-based productivity tools, especially Excel and Word required.
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration, behavioral health or healthcare/public healthcare management preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required
- Two years of experience in managerial/supervisory or operations environment in multi-disciplinary health related setting or another complex environment.
- Working knowledge of member eligibility verification, benefits/services, claims management, and quality management functions required.
