The Life Skills Program is a highly structured and group-based supportive therapeutic program for adolescents, ages 12-18 years, that are presenting with major mental illness and who are experiencing disruptions in their home, school, or community.In this important role, the Direct Care worker will work as part of an amazing team to provide a safe and therapeutic milieu.The primary responsibilities of the Direct Care worker include : Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with enrolled youthProviding milieu supervision and supportPlanning and facilitating activity-based groupsCommunicating clients’ progress in meetings and documentationCollaborating with clinical staff in individualized treatment planning and implementationPromoting the human rights of individuals through a commitment to strengths-based, culturally competent, and individualized supportSchedule : Full Time, 40 hours8am to 4pm, Monday through FridayPay Rate : $20.60 / hourlyWhy You'll Love RiversideWe make a true difference in people’s lives through rewarding work.
