Therapeutic Support Specialist
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Therapeutic Support Specialist! In this vital position, the Therapeutic Support Specialist provides safe, therapeutic, strength-based skill development and resiliency building activities for youth and families, within the home and community.
The focus of these activities support includes :
- social and recreational engagement
- development and maintenance of friendships
- maintaining personal boundaries
- stress management / relaxation / mindfulness
- daily living skills (i.e., money management / use of public transportation)
- secondary education / pre-vocational / career planning and preparations
- strategies to prevent and address bullying of others and being bullied
Schedule : Full Time, 40 hours
Pay Rate : $22.28 / hourly
