About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery unit at Riverside Community Hospital SCA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fetal heart rates using GE equipment and interpret results to inform care decisions.
- Provide high-quality patient care during labor and delivery, adhering to established protocols and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in EMR systems like CPN and Meditech.
Qualifications
- AHWONN Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
- More than two years of Labor and Delivery experience is highly preferred.
- Candidates without the required skills will not be considered.
Work Schedule
Weekends and on-call shifts may be required as needed but are typically not scheduled.
Our Unit
The Labor and Delivery unit has 11 labor beds, 4 OB Evaluation beds, 2 OB PACU beds, and 2 ORs. With 79 staff members, including day and night shifts, patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients and 1 RN to 1 patient for specific cases.
