Job Summary
Riverside Community Hospital SCA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The successful candidate will have experience with fetal monitoring, patient care, and teamwork.
Key Functions
- Utilize GE equipment to monitor fetal heart rates and interpret results to inform care decisions.
- Deliver high-quality patient care during labor and delivery, adhering to established protocols and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in EMR systems like CPN and Meditech.
Requirements
- AHWONN Fetal Monitoring certification is mandatory.
- More than two years of Labor and Delivery experience is highly preferred.
- Candidates without the required skills will not be considered.
Schedule and Work Environment
Weekends and on-call shifts may be required as needed but are typically not scheduled.
Our Team
The Labor and Delivery unit has 11 labor beds, 4 OB Evaluation beds, 2 OB PACU beds, and 2 ORs. With 79 staff members, including day and night shifts, patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients and 1 RN to 1 patient for specific cases.
