Job Summary And Qualifications
To coordinate clinical services for the Pharmacy Department staff. These activities include the training, certification, and monitoring of drug therapy, utilizing pharmacokinetics, communication skills, computer applications, and continuous quality improvement to achieve outcomes that improve our patient’s quality of life and follow the rules and regulations as defined by law and the professional standards set by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Job Summary And Qualifications
To coordinate clinical services for the Pharmacy Department staff. What qualifications you will need:
- Must have a valid California license to practice pharmacy
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree, or preferably a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Minimum of five years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice through an academic training program or hospital pharmacy internship
- Completion of 1 year ASHP approved (PGY1 or general practice) Hospital Pharmacy Residency preferred
- Experience with working with a number of different methods of drug distribution systems
- Has been previously involved in clinical pharmacy services and able to communicate and teach
- Has supervised pharmacy technicians
- Knowledge of TJC requirements, Quality Improvement, and Quality Monitoring for Pharmacy Services
- Be familiar with all Federal and State laws and regulations of his or her profession
