POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The job of Office/School Clerk is done for the purpose(s) of providing general clerical support to assigned area; communicating general information to staff and the public; processing information in compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and assisting other office personnel. The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county’s 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.

Job related experience is desired. One year of experience in clerical work; 24 semester or 36 quarter units of college level secretarial training may be substituted for experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES:
Valid California driver’s license may be required
