About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Building Crew Laborer to join our team at Riverside Energy Michigan, LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of facilities, buildings, and production equipment through routine repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance.
- Visual inspection and reporting on pertinent information, documenting findings and problems, and recommending courses of action to supervisors to decrease costs and increase production.
- Ensuring compliance with company, federal, state, vehicle, health, safety, and environmental policies, laws, and procedures to guarantee secure and environmentally safe operation.
- Collaboration with coworkers, working closely with Measurement, Operations, Pipeline, and Compression departments.
- Performing tasks as required or unique to the assigned geographic area, such as trim weeds, clean up trash, snow removal, grease equipment, service lease equipment, service or fix ATVs and snowmobiles, and other tasks to maintain production efficiency.
Requirements:
- Self-motivation to consistently maintain facilities and flexibility to perform discrete project goals safely and in a timely fashion.
- Ability to respond to emergency calls (rarely) - travel is only within northern Michigan.
- Possession of a valid chauffeur driver license and ability to meet state and federal regulations governing vehicle operations.
- Passing pre-employment screenings: background, Motor Vehicle Record (7 years), drug, and physical; able to pass ongoing drug screenings.
- Able to obtain and keep a DOT medical card - Riverside will cover cost of physical/drug screening.
- Providing own hand tools up to 1 1/4">
- Required to live within a 20-to-60-mile radius of assigned reporting stations.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as iPhone or iPad apps.
