Responsible for the supervision of all operational aspects of a Graduate Medical Education (GME) medical practice that establishes the foundation for resident's practice-based learning in a clinical environment committed to GME and the well-being of its patients, residents, faculty members, medical students, and all members of the healthcare team. Duties include aligning specialty-specific residency program requirements in a clinical setting that includes practice appointments, staffing levels, payroll, customer service, access to care, review of medical preauthorization referral processes, clinical onboarding, payor insurance policies and guidelines, time of service collections, chart audits as appropriate, operational performance analytics and expenses. Uses national resources to benchmark performance and create opportunities for educational growth and enhancement of services. Responsible for 20 or more providers and 30 or more team members or 3 or more specialties.

What You Will Do
- Ensures quality of service and access by implementing health system and RMG business operational plans with physicians and director, and manages daily operations while also assisting the residency program to meet accreditation requirements. Uses available dashboards and data to effectively identify trends and opportunities for educational and performance improvement. Participates in professional activities and initiatives with the residencies, clinical in-services, quality improvement committees to enhance personal, professional, and institutional advancement. Ensures best practice in clinical interventions within residency practices. Quickly responds to changing needs of the community and population served. Provides RN-level clinical supervision to necessary staff. Works with administration and residency leadership to determine best course of action regarding quality of care and provision of care with appropriate implementation of plan of care.
- Ensures the assigned residency practices are following applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards. Applies RN skillset when utilized in clinical practice given the residency’s complexity of patients, need for higher level critical thinking, having qualifications to triage and, when necessary, reconstituting medications for injections. Gleans information from patient satisfaction surveys and other tools to educate residents and staff to improve patient perception of care. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to care, access, and service. Ensures that patient scheduling and wait times meet RMG metrics.
- Responsible for revenue capture, reconciliation, and other financial aspects of the practice such as staffing levels/training, payroll, cash/account management. Responsible for ensuring compliance with payor specifics in billing and coverage. Collaborates with residency program leaders, providers and practice director on office operations and management including human, material, and educational resources.
- Coaches, mentors, and develops clinical and administrative team members to ensure high employee morale and professional atmosphere. Regularly practices clinical and service excellence and serves as a role model to others. Effectively communicates, develops, and reviews key data and reports to ensure staff and management have appropriate actionable information. Ensures transparency of data with residency leaders and providers to determine themes and trends in performance. Participates in root cause and performance improvement .
- Assists with the academic year processes related to successful resident recruitment, orientation, and graduation as well as recruiting and retaining faculty providers in the practice.
- Creates safe work environment and reports safety events using system-wide tools and techniques that promote patient safety and disclosure of patient safety events.

Education
- Bachelors Degree, Business, healthcare or related field (Required)
- 5-6 years management experience (Required)
