What You Will Do
- Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
- Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met. Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability. Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
- Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
Experience
- Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
- Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) within 120 Days(Required)
