Riverside Industries is seeking a full time BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/ BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred) to join a dedicated and mission-driven team in its Life Enrichment (day habilitation) Department. The purpose of this position is to develop and monitor behavior support plans and individual treatment plans, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical ethics. The BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/ BCBA provides staff training and development opportunities specific to clinical programming. In addition, the BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/ BCBA will represent Riverside as a clinician in meetings with state agencies.
The role of the BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) offers exciting opportunities for creative and structured engagement with Riverside’s program participants. You will watch them grow as individuals while they gain independence and confidence through your teaching process.
The requirements of the BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST/BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred) include but are not limited to:
- One year’s experience developing behavioral programming for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- Preferred to be be currently enrolled or willing to enroll in a certificate program to become Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Must have effective organization, time management, problem solving, interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Good body mechanics and strength are needed when assisting program participants.
- Preferred– BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Preferred - working knowledge of DDS and MassHealth regulations relevant to clinical practice; ensure that regulations are followed.

Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
Riverside Industries is located in downtown Easthampton, MA. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate before starting work (Required).
