The Team:
This position is a part of the engineering and support management teams. This position works with and supports all co-workers and teams within the production process.
The Role:
This position works with production equipment to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for better equipment operation and process flow.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:

Performs corrective maintenance and repairing on equipment used in the electronic industry
-
Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders assigned on equipment used in the electronic industry

Ability to understand and use work instructions, manufacturing instructions, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolves equipment issues

Assists Production Machine Operators in troubleshooting equipment problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements
-
Assist with production machine start-up/shut-down as needed
-
Participates in continuous improvement activities

Complies and follows all company safety policies and procedures
-
Operates production equipment when production is short-staffed
-
Be a mentor for production operators
-
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications include but not limited to:
-
Experience working in manufacturing required
-
Electro-mechanical background preferred
-
2-year Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Working knowledge of productivity tools, examples may include Microsoft Office and quality management software
-
Must demonstrate mechanical competency
-
Ability to use hand/power tools
-
Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment. Uses professional and respectful communication with others

Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Effective organization and prioritization skills

Demonstrate high attention to detail

Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools

The ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotating schedule if needed

Ability to pass standard position assessment within 90 days of employment

Military experience in electronic installation/repair, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance a plus

Travel:

Limited travel between all RIS facilities

Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required
