Description: Riverside company is seeking an experience Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Position will be responsible for processing and reconciling inter-company transactions, maintaining sub-ledgers and/or supporting detailed spreadsheets, performing special projects / data mining to identify and explain variances, trends, unusual occurrences, drivers and results and assisting in the preparation of management reports, month-end closing along with G/L accounting, reconciliation, fixed assets and accruals, analyze and report on financial operations, income statements and other ad hoc information requests. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requires: Minimum of (4) four years of related accounting experience, Bachelors degree in Accounting required, Advanced Degree or certification a plus. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as a member of a team. Must have a strong understanding of financial and operational controls. Must have the ability to work under pressure, the ability to embrace with enthusiasm changing priorities, procedures and responsibilities. Previous experience with Financial Reporting, Month-end Close, and Variance Analysis. Highly-motivated personality, with ability to get into the detail while understanding the big picture and objective. Proficient using accounting systems. Experience with Yardi preferred. Requires a highly organized, strong analytical thinker. Ability to mentor/guide others while managing workload. Ability to problem solve and research accounting issues.
